elindra SG Actually I wonder if exercise helps When I was in Secondary School I was active and actually exercise. Heck I can run the 2.4km run in under 13 mins but I was fatter than I was now when I'm a PC potatoe and get no exericse Go figure
elindra SG Pls la if I don't exercise regularly, I can run 2.4km under 13mins? I won't have the stamina to do so ok. I was an active netball and badminton player and I swim too No I wouldn't say I was more muscular
jetta SG Did someone say... Netball? Kaki!!!!!!!!!! *shakes pinkie bear's hand* I was a very active netballer too! GS and GA were my regular positions.
stellazio SG I have friends who are like naturally fit those kind. after entering poly for 3 years doing nth but growing fat, still can run the effing 2.4 under 12mins. but of course back then in sec sch he was doing 10min plus. and worse still, uncles who're 40 yr old+ who can run 2.4km but comes with big fat tumimes. So stamina and exercise does not equal figure. Doing sports doesn't mean you will lose weight leh or have a good figure leh in fact, though you don't see it, but muscle could be building up, especially in sec sch during the growing period of youths. those with slim bods etc, are usually not doing sports but just doing specific exercises like sit ups etc to maintain their abdominal areas.
hisoka SG hmmz my school the netball players only got 2 kinds: pretty ones or ugly and big-sized/manly. nothing in between de dunno why
viciouskitty74 SG I hate netball. For the sole reason that I got beaten up after one gang of gals decide that I cause her to fall and bloodied her knee and she was up for some Miss Teenage Contest. She is ugly like heck. and fat. and dark skin. and got herself married at the age of 16 and had kids to a drug addict.
elindra SG Sorry I can't And you can't compare guy timing with girls Anyway I don't really believe that exercise will allow me to lose weight coz apparently it doesn't work
bluejuice SG I was also in netball for 1st 3 years of my sec school.. then I took up basketball in sec 4..
